Sapient’s Dr. Jonathan Usuka, Chief Business Officer, recently joined experts from industry and academia for a panel discussion at the Multi-Omics in Biomarker Discovery & Precision Medicine Online Symposium, hosted by Oxford Global. The session focused on overcoming the challenges of integrating multi-omic data for biomarker discovery, with very insightful conversations on current strategies and techniques being deployed – from AI to real-world data integration – to extract the most value out of multi-omic data analyses. There were also frank discussions of key limitations that must still be addressed, and ideas posed for how to tackle areas like data standardization which are critical to the democratization of multi-omics approaches in drug development.
The symposium also featured a number of individual presentations from delegates sharing how they are leveraging multi-omic data and technologies to amplify biomarker discovery and toward the development of precision medicines.
